The DVIA-U series does not require an air source to operate the system. The strong metal springs in the isolator unit not only support heavy payloads, but also provide excellent passive isolation for high-frequency vibrations. The DVIA-U is very effective at isolating ultra-precision instruments from ambient vibrations of 1-10 Hz, and vibration-sensitive precision instruments tend to be unstable and destructive and do not produce optimal results. The DVIA-U starts isolation at 0.6 Hz and provides ± 99% vibration isolation at 10 Hz.
