For drying biological samples such as pollen, tissue, plants, insects, etc., as well as samples such as micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) to make them suitable for SEM examination, the Leica EM CPD300 critical point dryer can be used to complete the drying process. The drying process is fully automatically controlled.
