The Electron Microscopy Center of Sun Yat sen University is an important research service platform of Sun Yat sen University. Since its establishment in 1983, after years of construction and development, the center has become one of the large-scale physical and chemical analysis centers in South China with advanced instruments and equipment and strong comprehensive analysis and testing capabilities.

The main task of the Electron Microscopy Center is to provide high-quality electron microscopy analysis and testing services to Sun Yat sen University and external researchers. The center is equipped with advanced electron microscope equipment. The equipment and services of the Electron Microscopy Center are mainly used for research in fields such as materials science, life sciences, medicine, and chemistry. Through transmission electron microscopy, researchers can observe the microstructure and morphology of samples, which is of great significance for understanding material properties, biological processes, and disease mechanisms. In addition, the Electron Microscopy Center may also provide services such as sample preparation, operational training, and technical consultation to help users better utilize electron microscopy equipment for scientific research.
