Environmental Construction of Dongguan Songshan Lake Material Laboratory Analysis and Testing Center

Project timeline: 2021

Project Content: Engineering+Equipment

Project Address: Dongguan City

The Greater Bay Area Microscience and Technology Research Center of Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory (referred to as the Greater Bay Area Electron Microscopy Center) is one of the major scientific equipment platforms of Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory.

As an important research platform, the Greater Bay Area Electron Microscopy Center fully utilizes micro analysis equipment, ion beam micro nano processing equipment, and atomic level crystal growth equipment, mainly consisting of ultra-high spatial resolution and ultra-high energy resolution aberration correction electron microscopes, to conduct fundamental and forward-looking research on basic scientific problems in advanced functional materials and high-performance structural materials. At the same time, it carries out research, development, training, and promotion of electron microscopy science and technology.

The main instruments and equipment installed and operated in the center are:

1. ThermoFisher Spectra 300 dual sphere aberration corrected transmission electron microscope (with monochromator high brightness field emission electron source, beam/image dual aberration corrector, SuperX EDS system, 1069 GIF system with direct electron detection, 3D tomography imaging system, etc.);

2. JEOL JEM-ARM300F2 aberration corrected transmission electron microscope (cold field emission electron gun, electron beam aberration corrector, ultra-high efficiency EDS system, high-resolution GIF system);

3. JEOL JEM-F200 field emission transmission electron microscope (with multi environment coupled in-situ sample rod);

4. ThermoFisher Talos F200X field emission transmission electron microscope;

5. ThermoFisher Helios 5UX focused ion beam system;

6. ThermoFisher Helios 5CX focused ion beam system;

7. ThermoFisher Verios 5UC field emission scanning electron microscope;

8. ThermoFisher Apero 2S in-situ field emission scanning electron microscope (heating, high-temperature fatigue, creep, tension, compression, etc.);

9. Malvern's X'Pert3 MRD X-ray diffractometer;

10. Cypher ES atomic force microscope from Oxford company;

11. Multiple sets of precision sample preparation and processing equipment
